Do I need to buy a tickets?

FreeFall Bluegrass Festival is now located at Nottingham Park in the Town of Avon. In order to provide the best experience for all attendees, a number of affordable ticket tiers are available. Please look carefully at the ticket tiers on the Tickets page to be sure you are buying the correct ticket for the part of the event you want to attend. Buy early to access the best prices
Is this a family-friendly show?

Yes! All of the bands in the lineup are appropriate for all ages.
Kids 12 and under are free for general admission. Kids and adults require a ticket to enter VIP. All other attendees need to purchase a ticket for entry.
Will the event be cancelled if it rains/snows/hails/sleets, etc?

This is a rain or shine event. The show would only be stopped temporarily in the event of severe weather that might affect the safety of artists, staff, or attendees.

WHAT CAN I BRING? WHAT CAN I DO?
What items am I prohibited from bringing in to the event?

You may bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages into all Avon events. We highly encourage all guests to support our sustainability efforts and not use single use plastic vessels or Styrofoam. If you bring a single-use plastic bottle, please recycle it in the receptacles provided.

We understand that you may want to bring a lawn chair along so you can take a seat and enjoy the music. If you’re planning to do so feel free until to set them up on the grass and not on a pavers.
Avon is a smoke-free community (tobacco, marijuana, etc.). Smoking marijuana in any outdoor area, public or private, in Avon is illegal.
Can I smoke during the event?

No animals. No outside alcohol. No marijuana. Additionally, no weapons of any kind will be allowed into the venue. This includes, but is not limited to guns, knives, tasers, or pepper spray.
Bag policy : maxiumum size 20”x20”x12”, hydration pack are allowed but must be empty, and please no coolers.
All bags will be searched at entry.
We love dogs, but due to the nature of the event, only service animals as defined by the ADA will be allowed entry to the venue and must remain on a leash no longer than 5 feet.
Will there be bathrooms on site?

The event is outdoors at Nottingham Park in Avon. The VIP area will have a tented area for protection from the elements. Entrance into the VIP area will require a valid VIP ticket.

Yes. Security officials will be located at all entrance points, and will be easily accessible if needed.
The venue has multiple access points where wheelchairs should be able to move freely throughout the venue
The Town of Avon is working on building a brand new restroom facility on site. If it is not complete there will be plenty of porta-potties on site, including multiple ADA units.
Yes. Credit cards will be accepted at all food and beverage vendor booths.
Where can I park my car?

Definitely! We encourage you to ride your bike. It’s better for the environment, better for your body, safer, and you don’t have to worry about parking. We will be hosting a bike valet so you can be sure your bike is safe while you’re enjoying the concert! Space in the bike valet is first come, first served, and space is limited. Yes, depending on where you are coming from. Transportation page coming soon.
We have a handful of great lodging partners on our Lodging page that offer discounted rooms for the event. There are no campgrounds located in the Town of Avon but there are campgrounds located in Wolcott as well as dispersed outside of the Town of Avon.
Parking is available throughout Avon, but spaces closest to the festival are limited and will fill quickly. For the easiest festival experience, consider taking free public transit, riding your bike, walking from nearby lodging properties, or carpooling. Parking & Transportation page coming soon.
